So I plan to go out today like I do almost every Sunday and take my dog for a walk on the canal road. Because of my bad run yesterday, I plan to do just a little "shuffle" run, very slow, barely faster than walking pace, just to shake out my legs a little. So I'm doing that and then I look behind and who do I see but Debbie running--really running--with her dog. I hate to see her running alone, so I join up with her. My planned "shuffle" run turns into more of a real run, but I don't care, I enjoyed it, it felt good, and all is well. My husband said I didn't plan to sin, it just happened, so it's not as bad as if I had planned it. That makes me feel much better. |
