Personal:

I'm married with four children.  I run with a group called the Bingham Butt-Kickers, a really fun group of people that gets me out running early on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and sometimes Saturdays.   I recently found out that I've been running with poor form for many years, which has probably contributed to some nagging aches and pains I've had for years.  One of my big goals now is to be able to run with better form and to have running feel more effortless.  I hope this won't take too many years to achieve!

I stayed inside and did treadmill running.  I started with a very easy run/walk of about a mile, then to the main workout of 30 minutes of at least 6.0mph, fooled around with the speed throughout, but mainly stayed in the 6.0-6.7 range, with a 2% incline.  Took a break, then ran 10 minutes at 7.0 and 1% for 5 minutes, 2% for 5 minutes.  Watched Ghost during the run, that was good.  I like it when there are good movies to occupy my mind.  Let's hope for good streets and good weather tomorrow.  Will this be the time of the dreaded inversion?

Cheryl,

How was Patrick and Demi this time around? Sounds like you are getting a lot of great movies in. I have the whole Bond collection on DVD if you are interested. I watched them all last winter when I was bound to the treadmill by asthma during the inversions.

I loved Patrick, liked Demi, thought Whoopi was pretty funny. That movie always gets me at the end, I ended in tears on the treadmill. Maybe it was just tears of happiness because I was done with running. I've never really gotten into Bond movies. Maybe I should borrow one and give it another chance.

I have not seen that movie in ages!! I have so many movies on my DVR, I should run at home on my treadmill instead of at the gym where there is nothing on TV!! BUT, my kids get in my way and demand we watch Spongebob (although he is a pretty funny guy!)

It was GREAT to SEE you this morning! Thanks for making sure I was there. The weather was GREAT for winter, I hope it stays this way. The inversion does worry me some, but only for Scott and those like him with asthma.

THANKS for the great run this morning, I liked the course we ran (I thought we were just going to run up those hills and that had me FREAKED out!)
