Personal:

I'm married with four children.  I run with a group called the Bingham Butt-Kickers, a really fun group of people that gets me out running early on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and sometimes Saturdays.   I recently found out that I've been running with poor form for many years, which has probably contributed to some nagging aches and pains I've had for years.  One of my big goals now is to be able to run with better form and to have running feel more effortless.  I hope this won't take too many years to achieve!

I missed the group again because of my thyroid issues, but I did get up fairly early and make it to the Rec Center at 7:30, and ran 4 miles.  I tried to keep things fairly easy, but you know how it goes, you start watching the watch and end up running faster than maybe you should.  I paid for it at the end, because I felt sick for a few minutes, then was fine.  I was pretty happy with my splits considering everything.  I'm going off ten laps being a mile, but maybe it's a little short.  Anyway, the splits were 8:59, 8:10, 7:50 and 8:09.

We definately missed you this morning. Great splits! I was proud of my ONE split under 8, and that was a 'tempo' run. Hope you get feeling better soon!

GREAT SPLITS!!! And, hey, I read yesterdays post about the treadmill!! See, I knew you would come around and hate it like the rest of us! (Actually, I am getting used to it myself, and if I had a movie on I could probably handle it)!

Missed you today, but I hope that you get to feeling all better soon!

Cheryl, where art thou Cheryl?

Sure have missed you the last couple of times at running group. I cannot believe how large the group has become, you ought to start collecting dues so we could plan some great parties in the future. We might have to reserve the entire Mimi's Restaurant after St. George this year.

Hope you get feeling better soon. Sorry it has been rough. We'll catch up to you soon.

That is a great idea, Eric!!!

I actually passed Mimi's today and I thought, "That is not going to work next year." Funny.

You guys are right, Mimi's won't be able to hold us next year. Maybe we'll have to reserve our own little banquet room at some restaurant.

As for me, I missed this week because my thyroid is high and I WAS going to have a procedure next week that would require me to stay away from everyone for at least a week, so I just decided to take this week off also (mainly because I feel sick after runs and I didn't want to push things too much). Anyway, I found out yesterday that I can't have the procedure right now, so I will be back at the group next week. I do miss all of you wonderful people a lot.
