Personal:

I'm married with four children.  I run with a group called the Bingham Butt-Kickers, a really fun group of people that gets me out running early on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and sometimes Saturdays.   I recently found out that I've been running with poor form for many years, which has probably contributed to some nagging aches and pains I've had for years.  One of my big goals now is to be able to run with better form and to have running feel more effortless.  I hope this won't take too many years to achieve!

I met some in the group at Cheris' house.  Those there:  Cheris (of course), Jody, Michelle M., Lisa, Kris L.  We ran to the start of the Riverton 10k, then ran the course.  I've been feeling pretty good running lately, so I was expecting to do well again.  However, from the get go I was dragging and just generally felt like I didn't have much to give.  We ran it in about 51 minutes.  Originally I thought we might do it twice, but I had no desire to do that at the end, so I just went home.  I was pretty tired all day, then felt a little sick.  So maybe I'm coming down with something and that's why I had such a bad run.  We'll see how it goes this week.

oh no! I hope you're not getting sick! You've really been kicking out those workouts with a vengeance lately. Glad you were able to get a good workout in even though you weren't feeling it!

I'm sorry you are feeling sick. I'd love to run the Riverton 10K in 51 minutes. I think the fastest I've ever run it is 52 minutes and that was 10 years ago.

I'm sorry you're not feeling well. Peggy told me about your father and that he is dying of cancer. I'm very sorry. It's a very hard thing to go through. Both my parents died of cancer. My mom was 59 and my dad 63. I'll be thinking of you a praying for you. Hope things get better soon.

Rachel--I have been feeling a little sick this week, but I'm starting to feel better. I hope all is well with you.

Nancy--thanks for that. My father is in a coma and is not expected to live much longer. My mother also died of cancer. What a terrible disease!
