Personal:

I'm married with four children.  I run with a group called the Bingham Butt-Kickers, a really fun group of people that gets me out running early on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and sometimes Saturdays.   I recently found out that I've been running with poor form for many years, which has probably contributed to some nagging aches and pains I've had for years.  One of my big goals now is to be able to run with better form and to have running feel more effortless.  I hope this won't take too many years to achieve!

So I was evaluating why my run yesterday wasn't the greatest, and I realized that my old nemesis (or nemesi), tightness and tenseness, have crept in again (or maybe they never left).  I know I need to run "looser" and more relaxed, so that's what I practiced today.  I didn't worry about pace or anything else, just staying relaxed.  And voila, I had a much better run, much more enjoyable.  I didn't go any faster (probably went slower) but I just felt a lot better.  So that's my goal now for every run, staying relaxed.

PM--I guess I felt so good that I wanted to do another run.  So while my son practiced football at the SJ park, I ran around there for about 30 minutes.  Is that called multi-tasking, running and watching football practice at the same time?

Nice job! I always try to take one day a week and just concentrate on form, no pace worries, just form. Has made the new form MUCH easier!!

GREAT JOB! I am so happy that you had a better run and felt good, it makes or breaks the day sometimes!

Maybe that is my problem. Next time I will run relaxed and see if I can go any farther. I'm glad you figured it out.
