Personal:

I'm married with four children.  I run with a group called the Bingham Butt-Kickers, a really fun group of people that gets me out running early on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and sometimes Saturdays.   I recently found out that I've been running with poor form for many years, which has probably contributed to some nagging aches and pains I've had for years.  One of my big goals now is to be able to run with better form and to have running feel more effortless.  I hope this won't take too many years to achieve!

I met the group at Bingham High at 5:45.  The plan was to run some 2-mile repeats, hopefully 3.  We were only able to get in 2 1/2 repeats, which was ok.  Didn't like running out in the inversion, but didn't really notice any adverse affects, besides this terrible smoker's cough.  Hopefully it will clear up by the next time I run outside, which will probably not be until next Tuesday.

Here are the details of each run:

#1- 2.1 miles; avg. pace 8:30; fastest pace 7:19

#2 - 1.99 miles; avg. pace 8:28; fastest 7:05

#3 - 1.24 miles; avg. pace 8:26; fastest 7:14

It was fun being with my fellow running friends.  I couldn't run like this by myself.

Cheryl- thanks for the breakdown. I know that was for me more than anyone! I can't believe there was a period of time that I was running that fast (I'm sure it was when I was dragging behind you). The average pace was good for me and I felt good. Thats the best part for me, it gives me hope for Myrtle. As long as I don't have too much humidity to contend with.

I miss it so much when I do not do the group run! It is the two days a week that I actually push myself a little. On my own, I am one sad, slow, sorry puppy!!!

Hopefully the air will be perfect next Tuesday. It does not look too bad today, I am hoping to run the Riverton 1/2 route again tomorrow!
