Personal:

I'm married with four children.  I run with a group called the Bingham Butt-Kickers, a really fun group of people that gets me out running early on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and sometimes Saturdays.   I recently found out that I've been running with poor form for many years, which has probably contributed to some nagging aches and pains I've had for years.  One of my big goals now is to be able to run with better form and to have running feel more effortless.  I hope this won't take too many years to achieve!

I met the BBK group at 5:45, and we ran two "easy" approximately 3 mile loops.  I kept up with the main group on the first one, then knowing I was going to TOSH later, decided to keep the second fairly easy.  It still felt like I was pushing it just a little.

Later I did make it to TOSH and ran approximately 3 miles on their treadmill.  I always kind of dread that workout, but am always glad after that I did it.

Later tonight I'm planning to play basketball.  All I can say is, I'm tired!!

Simply amazing. When I see you next you'll have to tell me more about what you are doing at TOSH. Sounds like you are doing some exciting things and training hard.

Got to be tired?

Cheryl,

Are you interested in running Butterfield Canyon tomorrow? Alan and I were thinking of meeting at your place at 6:30 to be to the canyon by 7:00. What do you think?

Eric--

I thought I would want to run it, but I must have overdone it yesterday, because my hamstring tendonitis is really acting up today. I think I won't run again until next Tuesday, my tendons need a little break.

TOSH is fun, it's an acceleration program where you run fast sprints on a incline (so basically you're doing hill sprints). I've done it before and it's seemed to help me get a little faster, so I'm giving it another try.
